The SD70ACes feature a powerful can motor, dual flywheels, traction tires, directional controlled LED lighting, AutoLatchTM couplers, fine pad printing, optional pilot and plow included and the locomotives come DCC ready.
AZL challenged themselves to use a standard PCB in the SD70ACe while pushing for prototypical cab lighting that included working ditch lights. While the design is prudent, the illumination is not as bright as we had desired. Yes there is lighting there…. trust us!
