The Evans 53’ Double Plug Door (DPD) box car was manufactured during the 1960s and 1970s by Evans Products. Commonly used for
transporting lumber and paper goods, the RBL (AAR class for an insulated bunkerless refrigerator car with loading devices) classification
also allowed for the transport of canned goods and other food products. The double 8’ doors eased the loading and unloading process of
large cargo.
Due to their versatility the Evans DPD box car remained in service for many decades.

Atlas was a Chicago, IL brewery that begun in 1896, very popular throughout the region,
but closed down after the Prohibition.  A new craft brew pub, building on the tradition of Chicago's neighborhood breweries has emerged and brought back the Atlas name.
At the turn of the 19th Century, during America's Industrial Revolution, Railroads refurbished many of their well-built older wood-side cars for more modern use by employing steel underframes, Bettendorf trucks, and new brake systems.

The Magnus Beck Brewery was originally founded by Joseph Friedman in 1840. Magnus Beck became a partner in 1855, taking control of the operation. The beer was promoted as "naturally smooth" and "Buffalo's Best."  Closing during Prohibition, Beck's reopened in 1933 and operated successfully until 1956.

Nye & Nissen was a San Francisco, California corporation which was
involved in the purchasing and selling of eggs, butter, and cheese. This
36’ wood sheathed reefer with Bettendorf trucks was built in 1928 by the
Pressed Steel Car Company and advertised “Fancy Hennery Whites.”

Bradbury Produce - NADX 6283

Built in 1928 by the Pressed Steel Car Company, this 40’ double-sheathed wood reefer with Bettendorf trucks is lettered for the Bradbury Produce Carlot Shipping company of Woodward, Oklahoma, carrying their “Sweet Heart Milk Fatted Poultry” product. Bradbury’s Woodward facilities were severely damaged by a 1.8 mile wide F-5 tornado in 1947, causing millions of dollars of damage and many deaths through several towns.
