Factory sold out !!!
These 50’ standard box cars with plug doors are painted dark green with yellow stripes, white ‘Northern Pacific, black red and white herald, and white slogans and dimensional data. They were built in October 1965 and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. They boast the ‘Damage Free’ logo on the doors to protect loads and limit load-shifting, as well as advertising its cushion underframe. This paint scheme weathered well as some have been seen through the 1980s with chopped ladders and roofwalks removed and this very paint scheme, after having been shopped. The only exception being the galvanized roof.
