Well, it's  APR. '20  and what a difference a month makes, eh?  Who knew where we would be at this moment?  I hope you are all staying safe and have not been adversely affected by the insidious virus.  I'm doing OK, though wary of any excursions due to my age and frailties.  Hence I work on drawings and assemblies.  With your help I hope to continue on with my Z Scale Mission Pursuit: Freight cars (hoppers) of the Steam and Diesel "Golden Age" of Railroading, with a bent to all the Main Lines, unusual, peculiar and regional diversities therein!  Gulp!

These models have been equipped with our Full Throttle  couplers, trucks and metal wheelsets.  Hay Brothers has crafted the detailed coal loads.  The 2-pk.carries two unique Reporting Numbers!

The Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) was founded in 1846. Commonly referred to as "Pennsy," the PRR was headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Pennsy, an early giant, set standards for railroading in

all of North America!

In 1933, the New Jersey Transit Authority convinced the Pennsylvania and Reading Railroads to consolidate in order to run their routes through Central and Southern New Jersey, thus creating the Pennsylvania ~ Reading Seashore Lines (PRSL). PRSL accumulated a small fleet of EMD GP-38s to carry freight and passengers throughout NJ, especially to the summer seashore spots of Atlantic City, Ocean City, Wildwood, and Cape May. Doodlebugs and RDCs ultimately became common passenger carriers for the Line. PRSL properties were conveyed to CONRAIL in 1976.
